DESCRIPTION:Women of Tomorrow Metro Detroit is holding its Girls on Track Racing Fundraiser on September 4th at the M1 Concourse in Pontiac. Guests will enjoy food\, cocktails\, fast cars\, and more. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Women of Tomorrow Metro Detroit program\, which helps inspire and empower at-risk women.\n\nThe Women of Tomorrow mission is to inspire\, motivate and empower at-risk young women to live up to their full potential through a unique mentoring program with highly accomplished professional women and scholarship opportunities. These mentees face challenges such as poverty\, homelessness\, abuse\, bullying and parents involved in crime   all obstacles that heighten the pressure to drop out of school. This program was born from the belief that caring professional women\, sharing their support and knowledge with at-risk young women\, can be the catalyst for success\, inspiring them to excel.\n\nThe Women of Tomorrow Metro Detroit program now serves more than 1\,200 at-risk girls at 53 public high schools across the region. The program has achieved a 96% high school graduation rate in Metro Detroit among an at-risk population.
