Rochelle Freeman serves as the Business & Economic Development Director with the City of Southfield; since August, 2005. Rochelle is responsible to attract new and retain existing commercial and industrial investment, generate job growth, foster business competitiveness and bolster the City tax base in the City of Southfield. Additionally, Ms. Freeman is responsible for the oversight of Oakland County Michigan Works Southfield division, Centrepolis Accelerator and special projects related to Automation Alley Smart Zone and Lawrence Technological University.
Rochelle Freeman is a graduate of Wayne State University, College of Urban, Labor and Metropolitan Affairs with a Masters of Urban Planning, 1991. She also earned B.A. of Social Science from Michigan State University,
