Schoolcraft College APEX Accelerator - Marketing Yourself to Become a Federal Subcontractor
Register for this interactive in-person workshop to practice strategies and techniques to help prepare you to market yourself for federal subcontracting opportunities.
Participants will learn how to:
- Access information federal government prime contractors with subcontracting plans
- Design, tailor, and share Capability Statements
- Audit their company’s SBA’s Dynamic Small Business Search (DSBS) profile
- Use public resources for data mining/market research
Class Prerequisite: Active registration profile in System for Award Management (SAM)
Optional: Personal laptop, existing Capability Statement
The APEX Accelerator provides assistance to businesses in marketing products and services to federal, state, and local government agencies. Schoolcraft College in Livonia has sponsored the local program since 1985 and is the link between the government, prime contractors, and businesses.
The APEX Accelerator is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense. Additionally, the Schoolcraft College APEX Accelerator is funded by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) and Schoolcraft College.
